Student Media Center Support
One of the major focus points for Media Productions is support of the Student Media Center.  In addition to media production technical support, we offer training and coaching for all students in the division.   Through curriculum planning, the facilities of Media Productions are available to students to provide them direct contact with professional real world job opportunities.

Interactive Video Conferencing
Our Interactive Video Conference rooms feature state of the art equipment which provides transmission of full motion video images and high quality audio between all of SLCC’s campuses and any other site that has video conference capabilities.  Working with Distance Learning, we provide conference solutions for all aspects of academics, institutional use, and special events distribution.

Webcasting and Online Media
Through the use of online media and live webcasting, we make media learning objects available via multiple delivery modes.  We provide services for media capture, encoding, and web hosting, plus originate live video streams for Valley Television and SLCC events.


Institutional Support and Services
Services include upper tier maintenance and support for Smart Classrooms, design of new media rich installations, and custom conferencing solutions.  We provide inter and intra campus connectivity for media related events such as Bruin sports, special events, and program distribution via plasma screens and operate the Valley Television broadcast center.
